“You don't take a photograph, you make it." - Ansel Adams
We create photographs using film and digital cameras, in black and white and color. We shoot in both formats because they complement one another. The timelessness of film and the ability to capture the spontaneity of life in digital media provide a well-rounded approach to photographing weddings and portraits.
Black and white photographs have a simple and classic quality. These are photographs you can hand down to your kids and grandkids, and even great-grandkids. Black and white film is unique -- it's slight imperfections make the images even more beautiful and timeless.
Color photographs capture the vibrant hues of your flower bouquet at your wedding and the colors of your child's holiday outfits. People view the world in color. Color helps to tell a story -- the story of your wedding, your pregnancy, or your child's first Christmas.
We care about our clients and the quality of their images. We want your photographs to be as timeless and vivid as are your memories.
Chris Whitcomb -- Owner and Photographer
Photography has long been a passion of mine. I was introduced to photography at an early age, being taught by my grandfather who was also a wedding photographer with his own dark room for developing film and creating prints in the basement. Since then, I’ve done everything from covering sporting events to being a photographer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. While I enjoy shooting digital photography, I love the timeless qualities of black and white film. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually relaxing with my wife, Jill, our twins, and our loyal but not incredibly smart dog, Darwin.

I love coming up with ideas, whether it’s for an event or a way to market Chris’ fantastic photography (and, by the way, I’m the one really in charge). Prior to my current career, I worked at a local stock photography agency, where I assisted clients and learned about composition and internet keywording. That experience allows me to pick out Chris’ best pictures to put on our website, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram accounts. I see the images as though I were in them. I enjoy spending time with my family and running after our twins, gardening, and reading.
